Our exclusive activity in HVAC, plumbing design, and energy evaluation, gives us an appreciative understanding of each unique project, and a well-tread framework for resolving any issue.
We couple the latest equipment with standard air distribution and energy management systems, designing efficient HVAC systems for historic and new facilities.
Specializing in sophisticated and basic plumbing systems, we have extensive experience designing plumbing systems for notable community centers.
21st-Century Energy-Efficiency for Timeless Institutions
From local Parish Halls to large regional Archdiocese Cathedrals, our team of innovative mechanical engineers have developed designs for HVAC & Plumbing systems that serve millions of faithful attendees.
With experience in many institutions of varied faiths and sects, we understand the needs such facilities hold in common: a place that is quiet, comfortable, and accessible for all.
We pay close attention to the overall environment of each project, ensuring equipment is able to allow for proper airflow and cooling without potential noise disturbance.
California Energy Designs was responsible for the HVAC and Plumbing designs for this energy-efficient renovation that established Our Lady of Guadalupe as a green building model for the entire Archdiocese. The Hermosa Beach Church became the first in Los Angeles to install solar panels on its roofing. A 65kW system was installed, along with other energy-efficient measures, including low-flow toilets, Energy Star appliances, and the usage of natural ventilation.
