CNBC & Forbes Coverage of Our “Hillside” Project | SAOTA-Designed Residence

While our Hillside project is no stranger to high-profile coverage, named “Home of the Week” by the L.A. Times upon its completion, the luxury property development has recently garnered significant attention from the business news world. Hillside had previously been covered by Forbes—both in multiple articles and on their social media channels—but now, another financial news giant is weighing in on the $43.9M development which was recently determined to be “the biggest home in the Hollywood Hills.” This time, however, CNBC accompanied the profile of Hillside House with some steller new images and video coverage.

“This is the biggest home in the Hollywood Hills, we did our research and this is it”

David Parnes (The Agency)

The video, provided by Hillside’s listing agent, The Agency, gives viewers a stunning inside view of the property’s awe-inspiring design features—spearheaded by Cape Town-based architect, SAOTA. A more interactive version of The Agency’s prior trailer video—which took a more sleek, refined, and reserved approach—the CNBC video follows the listing agent, David Parnes (well-known for his appearance in Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing“), in a personal tour of the property’s numerous unique features.

The Tour

In his tour of the 20,000 sq. ft. estate, Mr. Parnes—who recently told Fox Business, “this is the biggest home in the Hollywood Hills, we did our research and this is it”—guides viewers through Hillside’s temperature-controlled 10-car garage, humidity-monitored wine celler, state of the art gym, limestone-clad private theater, and wellness area with both hot and cold plunge pools, steam room, sauna, and spa facilities.

The View

The tour of this three-story modern residence—which, at over 20,000 sq. ft. is over 840% larger than the average single-family home (2,386 square feet, according to Census Bureau data)—of course, begins with a panoramic aerial shot from the 2,000 sq. ft. rooftop deck (just shy of the size of your average single-family home) and its unobstructed, 270-degree views of Los Angeles. The view, however, was not always so wonderful, which led to the project to include over $2M in costs associated with digging up and burying the dangling power lines which previously hindered the Hollywood Hills property’s view.

With so many other features—including Hillside’s 163-ft. infinity edge pool, custom sunken bathtub, master suite private spa, and walk-in dressing room imported straight from Lake Como, Italy—we encourage those interested to see the video for themselves. We’ve embedded it below, but we also encourage you to take a look at the CNBC coverage and gallery, which includes many more images and project details than we have been able to mention here.
